Question1: Can the fiber fusion splicer work on 4000-5000meter attitude?
Answer: Yes, the fiber fusion splicer is military grade fiber fusion splicer which can work well on 5000meter attitude.
The customer must perform arc calibration firstly. The fiber fusion splicer machine will record this parameter after calibration, and it will work normally.
When return to normal sea level attitude, please do the arc calibration again, the splicer machine will return to normal parameters.
Question2: Could you do OEM for us?
Answer: Yes, we can do artwork including printing, logo etc. for you, the device will with your LOGO on fusion splice case.
Question3: How can we place order?
Answer: After we made agreement on the product’ parameters, we will make proforma invoice for your confirmation.when we got your advance payment (deposit) we will arrange the production and delivery.
If you have your own ship forwarder, we will use your ship forwarder to delivery goods. if you don’t have ship forwarder, then when the goods arrived at Destination port, you must find a ship forwarder help you clear the custom.
Question4: How about the shipping?
Answer: For small orders, we will send the goods by International Express like HK Fedex, DHL, TNT or UPS. usually it takes about 7work days to arrive.If big quantity we will ship by Ocean transportation, it takes one month to arrive. if urgnet, you can select shipping by Air, but freight charge will be more expensive.
Question5: Can fiber holder switch to connector holder?
Answer: Yes, the fiber holder on fusion splicer can be switched to connector holder, then you can fuse the connector and the fiber.
Question6: Does this item come with heat shrink tubes? How many?
Answer: Dear Customer, the standard accessory include a pair of electrodes, fiber cleaver, miller stripper, etc, but heat shrink tubes are not included. You can order the heat shrink tubes sperately from us.
Question7: How often do I have to charge the battery if we do not use this Fusion Splicer?
Answer: To maximize the battery performance and prolongs its service life, it is better to recharge the fiber splicer machine every 3 months when you do not use this Fusion Splicer for long period.
Question8: What is the brand of the battery in BD-FS-41B?
Answer: The battery in BD-FS-41B fusion splicer is lithium battery and the brand is SANYO from Japan.
Question9: Can the fiber clamps of the cutter and fusion splicer be disassembled and interchangeable?
Answer: The fiber clamps of the cutter and fusion splicer can be disassembled, but not interchangeable.
Question10: Can the fiber clamps of the cutter and fusion splicer be replaced with SOC clamps?
Answer: Yes. It can be replaced with SOC clamps, please confirm the type of SOC clamps before ordering (SOC clamp is an optional accessory and needs to be purchased additionally).
Question11: How is the SOC clamp used in the heater of the fusion splicer?
Answer: We will replace the matching heater according to the type of SOC clamp.
Question12: There is a SOC clamp that needs to be equipped with a special cutter. If it can cut the normal optical fibers?
Answer: Yes. The special cutter can cut normal optical fibers.
Question13: Can the screen of fusion splicer display the types of the fiber while being spliced?
Answer: Yes. The types of the fiber can be displayed on the screen, but not 100% accurate (occurs in all brands of the fusion splicers in the world).
